Meditations on Bach
From July 26 to August 8, 2020 the Carya String Quartet released a series of daily musical meditations, pairing timeless Bach Chorales with artwork by Houston Artist-Members of Archway Gallery. Recorded while lockdowns and quarantines were in place, the quartet strived to raise mental health awareness and bring comfort to those who were suffering..
In March 2021, the Carya String Quartet recorded 10 new chorales paired with 10 new works of art.
